How do I plan an exercise program when i have had back surgery?

I had about 3 yrs ago and it still gives me trouble. I have a hard time going 2 blocks. I really really want to lose more weight. I have lost about 45lbs through eating properly and drinking more water. I know that is the key to a better life, and will help with the pain. Please help me. Thank you.

talk to a pro like a docotr

I would recommend swimming, cycling, and other non-impact activities. I would recommend talking to a professional before you start anything more strenuous like weightlifting or running. Water-based exercise helps me manage arthritis pain and my weight, which is why I recommend it so highly. Good luck!
