Hospitals should be places of help and healing but it doesn’t always work out that way. Health care providers and patients need to work together to make the hospital a safer place. In this program, we help people understand what could go wrong in the hospital, how they can reduce the risk of contracting a hospital-acquired infection and what information they should get before they head home after a hospital stay. This program is part of the award winning public television series Healthy Body, Healthy Mind.
